Ömer Ozan (b.1977 Ankara).

I studied drawing and painting at studios of Mustafa Pancar and Müserref Zeytinoglu in my high school years. Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design in 2005. Started working at Esen Karol’s design studio in 1997 and continued working as an art director in various advertising agencies, including Zebra Design Factory, RPM Radar CDP Europe, Iletisim Ünitesi and Studio Ka. Participated in group exhibitions; 1996 “The Other”, Young Activity 2 “Deterritorialization” within the scope of UN Habitat Project, 1998 Graphic Designers’ Association, 2007 Hafriyat “Fear of Allah”. Opened my first personal painting exhibition “The Crowd” in 2008. Founded Creative Bonanza, a design studio, with my two partners in 2009, mostly focusing on corporate identity and communication design. I opened my personal character design exhibition “Küpsehir“ in 2010 in Alan Istanbul. In the same year, I participated in “Istanbul Design Spirit” and “Spagat! Istanbul Design” in Germany, Herford with my character designs. In 2011, with Creative Bonanza I started “Hoi” brand which was sold as limited edition at Bilstore Sishane store and IKSV Shop. In the same year, I participated in “Istanbul Design Spirit” exhibition within the scope of “Istanbul Design Week” with “Hoi” branded products. In 2012, I opened “Ham Hum – Appetite for Exhibition”, a character design exhibition curated by Alan Istanbul. In 2021, I opened the painting exhibition "Pop-Up exhibition" at Canca Art Studio, İstanbul . I am currently is based in Istanbul and Berlin.
